Built for real impact

Six principles guide how we design, build and deploy AI solutions for social impact. They come from working alongside NGOs, health centres and schools, not from a lab.

Our principles

What partners can expect from us on every project.

  • NGO partnerships

We work directly with organisations reaching 2M+ lives across India. Our partnerships are not contractual arrangements. They are collaborative relationships where we learn from the field as much as we contribute technology.

    • Direct engagement with frontline workers
    • Understanding real operational constraints
    • Co-designing solutions with end users
  • Tailored AI solutions

We don't believe in one-size-fits-all AI. Every solution we build is designed for the specific context, constraints and capabilities of our partners. Rural India needs different approaches from urban technology.

    • Context-specific model training
    • Workflow integration, not disruption
    • Adaptable to local conditions
  • Transparent operations

AI systems that affect people's lives demand accountability. We keep people overseeing every critical decision point, so AI supports human judgement rather than replacing it.

    • Human oversight at critical decisions
    • Explainable AI outputs
    • Clear audit trails
  • Sustainable partnership

We are not interested in one-off consulting projects that leave organisations to work out maintenance on their own. We build long-term partnerships with ongoing support and continuous improvement.

    • Long-term relationship focus
    • Knowledge transfer to partner teams
    • Sustainable maintenance models
  • Field-first design

Low connectivity, shared devices, multiple languages and varying literacy: rural India has constraints that most AI systems ignore. We design for these realities from day one, not as afterthoughts.

    • Offline-capable where needed
    • Multilingual interfaces
    • Low-bandwidth optimised
  • Measurable outcomes

Impact without measurement is just hope. Every deployment includes clear metrics, baseline comparisons and regular impact assessments, so we know what is working and what needs to improve.

    • Success metrics defined upfront
    • Regular impact assessments
    • Data-driven iteration

How a project runs

Four stages, from the first field visit to long-term support.

  1. Understand

A deep dive into the organisation's operations, challenges and existing workflows. We spend significant time in the field before writing any code.

  2. Co-design

We work with stakeholders to design solutions that fit their reality. The best AI systems are designed with users, not for them.

  3. Build and validate

Iterative development with constant field validation. We test in real conditions, not just controlled environments.

  4. Deploy and support

Phased rollouts with training, monitoring and continuous improvement. We don't disappear after launch.
